Casa Fabbrini Piccola Londra takes its name from the area of Rome where it is located: the Piccola Londra, just a few minutes from Piazza del Popolo.
This private street is the realization of a European urbanization dream hatched at the beginning of the XX century. A cosmopolitan and yet minute dream, just two streets, in a district called Flaminio, that at the time did not even exist yet.
The Mayor of Rome at that time, Ernesto Nathan, created a series of small English style villas, complete with outside stairways, small gardens and pastel coloured facades
He was probably inspired by his memories of London where he spent his childhood and early adolescence.
Maybe deep down in his heart he knew that the Flaminio area would become, over a century later, an artistic and cultural hub of the capital city, thanks to the Auditorium Parco della Musica designed by Renzo Piano, the MAXXI museum designed by Zaha Hadid and the upcoming Città della Scienza.

By Car
From the A1 motorway, take the Roma Nord exit. Proceed in the direction of the centre of the city. On the Grande Raccordo Anulare (Ring Road) take the Flaminia exit and proceed towards Via Fracassini. Here, take a left turn and drive along Via Donatello until you reach Viale del Vignola. Find a parking place and look for number 50. From here you know the rest.
By Plane
From the Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, take a train or shuttle to the Termini main train station. From here take the A subway line and get off at the Flaminia – Piazza del Popolo stop. In the square outside the subway station, take the number 2 tram towards Piazza Mancini and get off at the Flaminia/Fracassini stop, and walk down Viale del Vignola opposite you.
